Curriculum

The curriculum at St Dominic’s Priory School is creative, varied and interesting. In this section of our website, each subject area has its own page broadly outlining the curriculum from Year 7 through to Year 11.IMG 2797 Custom

The curriculum at St Dominic’s aims to develop critical and creative thinking and self-discipline. We encourage each student to develop their own methods of learning but within a supportive framework. We pride ourselves on our small class sizes, which allow each pupil’s needs and strengths to be addressed. Our outstanding academic results are a by-product of this, as well as our family environment.

When it is time to choose GCSE options, we try our very best to accommodate each individual pupil’s choices within the wider teaching timetable. Preparing our students for a seamless transition into the next stage of their academic journey is paramount to us. We have made a commitment to our students that we as a school will assist them in helping them chose the next stage of their academic journey.
