All parents are made to feel welcome here at St Dominic’s Priory School. We believe that parents and teachers working together can only benefit a child’s development and learning. Therefore we seek to develop an effective partnership with parents, so that there is a two-way flow of information, knowledge and expertise.
We have a strict collection policy for parents. Only the authorised persons nominated by parents on the Pupil Information Sheet will be allowed to collect their child. If someone other than the nominated person is to collect their child, staff must be notified in advance, preferably in writing, as children will not be allowed to leave the premises without this notification. Whoever collects a child from the pre-schoolwill be required to sign the child out before leaving the premises.
Our parents are very satisfied with the care and education their children receive at St Dominic’s Priory School. Below are a just a few of the many comments we have received:
'We really appreciate the extra effort the staff has made to help our son make friends and settle in to the school.'
'Since our son has been at St. Dominic's we have noticed a huge difference in his development. His social skills have developed threefold and his confidence and speech has also improved overnight. We would have no hesitation in recommending parents to place their child in the safe hands of the staff at St Dominic’s.'
'St. Dominic's provides a place where children can explore and learn in the most positive way. It is well resourced, and staff ensure the activities are organised to excite and expand the learning experience. A warm welcome greets the children helping them to settle into a very happy and safe environment where the children grow in so many ways.'
