Firstly, well done to all our students this term! As you all know it's been tough working from home through lockdown, but everyone has proceeded to work hard and earn house points.
The grand totals of house points are as follows:
- Teresa - 2,975 house points
- Newman - 3,517 house points
- Romero - 3,523 house points
As you can see, it was a close call, but well done to Romero who took the winning title! Furthermore, 20 students received their bronze award, 38 received silver and 24 achieved their gold - keep up the good work!
During this lockdown, challenges and quizzes have been set for students to participate in, such as the Spanish cooking challenge, the February fitness challenge, and the weekly house quizzes. The results have been very impressive, so well done to all who took part!
Finally, a special mention to Jen in primary 4, for completing a sponsored silence to raise money for the Douglas Macmillian; Caitlyn in year 10, who is embarking on a 30-mile run in the half term holiday to raise money for Young Minds; and Shauney in year 11, who raised money for a local homelessness charity.
We look forward to welcoming you all back next week.
