St. Dominic's came away with Mary crowned the County Champion after competing last week in the Staffordshire Schools U16 Individual Table Tennis Championships held at Clayton Academy.

There were two round robin sections in the U16 girls competition. St. Dominic's had two girls qualify for the semi finals. Caitlyn couldn't quite manage to overcome her Moorside opponent in her semi-final. Mary, however, comfortable progressed through her semi-final to reach the final. With a speed of forehand attack too great for her opponent to handle, Mary cruised through the final 3-0 to finish as Staffordshire County Individual Champion and qualify for the All England National Schools Championships at Aldersley Stadium in April.

Well done, Mary, County Champion again!
