A group of swimmers from St. Dominic's Senior and Prep departments travelled to Walsall Baths in November to compete in their respective Independent Schools Association Midlands Swimming Championships.

Success at the Regional event results in qualification for the ISA National Championships at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London Aquatics Centre.

In the Senior event, Harriet was Midlands Runner Up in the Yr 9 back stroke and also finished ninth overall in the front crawl. Harriet was so close to gaining selection for the prestigious ISA National Championships.

In the Junior gala 20 schools took part. The children swam 25m in the pool and the races included both individual events and team relays. For some of the children, it was their very first experience of a competitive gala.
