World Mental Health Day was held on the 10th October 2019.
All children and staff in the Prep and Senior departments took part in the #HelloYellow for Young Minds. Everybody looked very bright because they were wearing a yellow accessory in addition to their school uniform, which included hair bobbles, ribbons, socks, ties and hats.
Everyone kindly made a donation of £1 each. The money raised will go to Young Minds to help raise awareness and support children with mental health issues.
During the day, children in Key Stage 1 read books called 'Words And Your Heart' and 'making the world a happier place', and in Key Stage 2, the children watched a video about different emotions.
Senior students had a special assembly on Mental Health and the importance of showing our support by taking part in #helloyellow. The Key Stage 4 students also had a workshop based on the same theme.
We thank you for helping us to raise funds for Young Minds.
Thank you to all who kindly donated to #HelloYellow Young Minds Charity.
