It is a memorable day for the children with an opening ceremony, a mass warm-up led from the stage, motivational comments from sporting celebrities Laura Samuel (World Junior Champs Silver & Commonwealth Games Silver Medallist Triple Jumper ) and Elliott Clogg (England Commonwealth Games Swimmer) and then off to compete in your particular sport.

Afterwards, there are fun activities to experience, meeting the celebrities for photos and autographs, before each sport gathers back at the stage for their particular results and podium presentation.

Chipping and putting their way to an excellent third place in Staffordshire, through eight different skill challenges were Alice, Joe, Marcie, Joel, Joseph, Sissy, Bella, Summer, Barney and Harry.

A super day to remember, made extra special by returning with medals and a place on the podium.
