Today, Pre-school received a letter from Daisy the Chicken, asking for their help.

She wanted Pre-school to design and create an egg carrier that would keep her eggs safe, because the farmer kept dropping and breaking them when he loaded his van for market!

The children used a variety of materials to create their own design. Each child worked hard and thought carefully about which resources they needed to use. Once they were completed we took them into the Priory Hall and watched as Miss Louise dropped them from the stage.

Would their egg carrier work?

4 out of the 9 carriers kept the eggs safe, 3 carriers just caused their eggs to crack and the rest splattered on the floor making a very eggy mess!!
