Primary 1 had a wonderful day visiting the Museum of Childhood. Thank you to our very informative tour guide who showed us around the museum. We played with toys from the past and compared them to the toys that we play with now.

We learnt about the lives of children long ago and the awful jobs that they had to do for example; working in the coal mine and sweeping chimneys. The children thoroughly enjoyed climbing a chimney in the museum and experiencing what life was like for Victorian children.

After lunch we took part in a workshop where we explored the different materials that toys have been made of over the years and what they are made of now. We had a great day !
