Application Process

Pre-School

There is no formal assessment for entry to the pre-school.  Parents considering a place should complete an application form and return it to Louise Lloyd, care of the school office. Parents are welcome to visit the school and meet with staff before submitting an application form. In the September following their fourth birthday, boys and girls can transfer to the Reception class in the Prep School.

The Prep School

Admission is by assessment. Potential puils are asked to attend taster days and meet with our Headteacher Mrs Harrison. Applicants are welcome at any point during the Academic year.

The Senior School

The main entry points to the Senior Department are at 11+ and 13+ years, although applicants are welcome at any point during the Academic Year.

Entrance at 11+ and 13+

Prospective Senior pupils are eligible to take the entrance assessment which is held in November. However, assessments can be arranged at any point. The assessment comprises of papers in English and Mathematics and reasoning skills. No specific coaching is necessary for these tests; a sample paper can be requested by contacting our Admissions Officer Louise Lloyd.
